More than 18,000 employees of Kingston businesses will now be able to benefit from a lower cost Kingston Transit Pass

The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new partnership with Kingston Transit in which it will offer all members and their 18,000 employees’ access to the Employer Transpass Program. The Chamber will formalize the partnership with the Kingston Transit on January 25. Through this partnership, members will be able to offer their employees the benefit of purchasing a monthly discounted regular monthly Kingston Transit pass.

"More than 650 Kingston businesses, who are members of The Chamber, will now have this benefit. This cost saving benefit coupled with others already offered by the Chamber and its membership continues our mission to connect and support our local businesses,” Karen Cross, CEO of The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

“The Employer Transpass Program provides significant value for employees and employers across Kingston and we are pleased to enter into this agreement with the Chamber of Commerce,” says Christopher Norris, General Manager of Transit Services at Kinston Transit. “In addition to extending the reach of our program, this partnership assists in alleviating traffic congestion and contributes to the City’s objectives in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by reducing single-occupancy vehicles.”
