The City of Kingston has approved a request by CN to close Bath Road to motorists in order for the organization to continue rehabilitation work on the rail crossing between Centennial Drive and Queen Mary Road.
The City of Kingston has approved a request by CN to close Bath Road to motorists in order for the organization to continue rehabilitation work on the rail crossing between Centennial Drive and Queen Mary Road.
On Wednesday, May 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bath Road will be closed to vehicles including transit between Centennial Drive and Queen Mary Road. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained however cyclists must be prepared to dismount at the track location.
Detours for motorists and Kingston Transit will be in place during this time.
Access to local businesses will be maintained during the closure. The City of Kingston thanks all affected residents, businesses, pedestrians, motorists, and transit passengers for their patience and understanding during the temporary road closures.
