    The Chamber's State of the City Address is held annually and is a "one of a kind" event to mark the beginning of a new year. It sets the tone for how our 3 levels of government set out to tackle the important issues that face our municipality. Mayor Bryan Paterson, MP Mark Gerretsen and MPP Sophie Kiwala  will look ahead to Kingston's political and economic development.

    Melody Knott of TD Bank Financial will be sworn in as the 2018 Chamber Board Chair at this event.

  • Industry 4.0 Luncheon

    Find out what the environment for business growth will be in 2018. Pierre Cleroux, the Business Development Bank's (BDC) Chief Economist will highlight the importance of changing consumer behaviors and their impact on entrepreneurial growth. Wednesday January 31st at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront.

  • Steering Through Change: Bill 148

    Complying with Workplace Changes Including Minimum Wage. 

    Bill 148 will bring in a number of reforms to Ontario’s current labour and employment standards laws, most notably instituting a $15 minimum wage by January 2019, representing a 32% increase.
