Description

On Thursday January 30th the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce in partnership with RBC, Commercial Services is pleased to present an Economic Outlook Luncheon.

We welcome guest speaker Josh Nye, Senior Economist, RBC. Josh will l spend most of the time covering the Canadian economic outlook in addition to the following:
 
  •  How trade tensions have impacted the global economy and what to expect in 2020
  • The outlook for Canada’s economy, from housing and business investment to fiscal policy
  • Interest rates and the Canadian dollar
  • Cyclical challenges and longer-term issues facing the Canadian economy

Guest Speaker: Josh Nye, Senior Economist, RBC
Josh Nye is a Senior Economist at RBC, focusing on the macroeconomic outlook and monetary policy in Canada and the United States. His research notes include Financial Markets Monthly, a forward-looking analysis of domestic and international economic and financial market trends. His comments are regularly featured in media, including the Globe and Mail, Financial Post and Wall Street Journal. Josh holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He has worked at RBC Economics since 2012.
