Description

The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Wilkinson & Co. LLP present an informative seminar on Cannabis in the Workplace.

A look at the impact of cannabis in the workplace from a Human Resource perspective.
Learn how businesses can prepare for the forthcoming legalization of cannabis and related products. Identify best practices and create an action plan to ease the challenges for owners and managers.

Includes discussion on communication guidelines and implementation challenges leading to an action plan.

Tracey's BIO:
Tracey Starrett has been practicing in the Human Resources field for nearly 3 decades, holding senior practitioner and leadership roles in a variety of industries and sectors as well as working independently as an HR consultant.  She is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and holds a Master of Education degree in Adult Education (Teaching & Learning and Organizational Development).  Tracey is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA), having served the Durham Chapter in many volunteer leadership roles.
 
In her role as Director, Human Resources Solutions, Tracey leads the internal HR function for Wilkinson & Company LLP; guiding the firm on its journey towards world class HR practices.  Tracey also leads the external HR Solutions practice, working with clients to find pro-active HR solutions to their people and business challenges.
 
Tracey brings a practical, down to earth approach, combined with a strong understanding of people and organizational behavior to zero in on the core problem and generate workable solutions.  Tracey’s background in automotive, healthcare, pulp and paper, not-for-profit, health charities, and the funeral/cemetery industries have provided her with depth and breadth in experience.  She is eager to share this valuable HR resource and put it into action for the Wilkinson team and their clients.
