Description

Lunch n'Learn Workshop  "Introduction to Magnet"

Are you an employer looking to hire? Are you a job seeker? Join us on Thursday March 2nd for a presentation on Magnet. What is Magnet?

Magnet was launched in 2014 to assist in bridging the gap between employers and students  who struggle to apply their skills to real labour market needs.. The job-matching technology was tailored to effectively communicate student's experiences, accomplishments, skills, and education to potential employers. Magnet is now available across Canada and to all job seekers/employers.

The session is conducted by Mark Patterson, the executive director of Magnet. He will introduce the platform and explain benefits of registering to employers. Since this is a province-wide platform, employers will be able to connect with 90,000+ job seekers across Ontario.

Hosted by: Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Kingston Economic Development Corporation
