The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce is an organization comprised of over 800 businesses in the Kingston area. The three pillars of our mission statement – advocacy, networking and education - all reflect the key role of the Chamber in helping its members increase their chances of business success.
Our advocacy efforts work to create a more positive overall climate for business in Kingston. The networking opportunities we facilitate help businesses establish and maintain critical relationships. And the resources and information we provide help our members to stay informed and develop their abilities as entrepreneurs.
In addition, the Chamber offers its members a number of benefits and discount programs which can lead to real savings in your business, as well as various advertising and promotional opportunities to increase the visibility of your business.
Incorporated under the Boards of Trade Act, the Chamber is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected from within its membership. The Board sets the policies and goals which guide the Chamber’s staff who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our services.
In 2012, our Chamber was also Accredited With Distinction by the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada. Chamber accreditation measures the operations, planning and governance of Chambers of Commerce for their adherence to best practices, similar to an industry quality certification.
