    Join us on Thursday April 12th, 2018 at the Annual General Meeting of the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce , the Membership will be asked to approve the Audited Financial Statements of the Corporation for the year ended December 31st, 2017 , update on the advocacy work and the year in review.

    Joining us as guest speaker this year is Troy Reeb, Senior Vice-President, News Station Operations, Global News.

    Troy will present on the importance of local media, the challenges of "fake news," and how the media can work together with the Kingston business community to ensure the public is properly informed and supported.

  • Steering Through Change: Bill 148

    Complying with Workplace Changes Including Minimum Wage. 

    Bill 148 will bring in a number of reforms to Ontario’s current labour and employment standards laws, most notably instituting a $15 minimum wage by January 2019, representing a 32% increase.

    the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Ontario Chamber Network launched the second annual Ontario Economic Report, presenting a new perspective on the economic health of the province through the Business Confidence Survey, the Business Prosperity Index, and the Economic Outlook.
